"The Neutrino Passoire" workshops are designed as an educational extension of the same performance. An activity imagined by physicist Dr. Kostas Nikolopoulos from the University of Birmingham and choreographer Mairi Pardalaki, the workshops combine dance and physics and aim to familiarise students with elementary particles through play and movement.

Through this workshop, we aim to make physics more accessible, to help students gain confidence in recent scientific developments and to associate their bodies with the microcosm.

"The Neutrino Passoire" workshops have so far been held in France and England, reaching over 200 secondary school students. For his work on "The Neutrino Passoire" performance and workshops, Kostas Nikolopoulos received the European Research Council's (ERC) 2020 Award for public engagement.
