It's autumn. A poplar tree stands alone in the middle of a field. One day a farmer arrives on his white horse, ties it to the tree's trunk and starts to work the land in the neighbouring field. The animal and the tree get to know each other, realising that, to their surprise, one understands the other's language.
"L'Étrange Amour" is a performance for 1 dancer and 1 musician, a children's story staged for audiences of all ages, based on the book "The strange love of the horse and the poplar tree" by Christos Boulotis, published in Greek in 1987.
